Configuring the Postfinance YellowPay Plug-In

The activities of PostFinance help shape the financial services that are on offer in Switzerland. To process online payments via the Postfinance in your online store, please visit the Postfinance website and register. After your Postfinance account is created you will get the data (your merchant ID and Postfinance server URLs) necessary for YellowPay plug-in configuration.

Note: Please configure your Postfinance account properly: contact the Postfinance support team and inform they about the callback URLs to send notification about transaction result. For your convenience all the necessary URLs are displayed on the YellowPay plug-in view screen. Go to the Business Director - Billing Manager - Setup - Payment Plug-Ins, click YellowPage Payment and copy the URLs to be indicated in your Postfinance account from the Gateway-side Settings part of the screen form: Return URL on Error action, Data return URL, Return URL on Success action, and Return URL on Cancel action.

To configure the YellowPay plug-in:

  1. Open the Business Director submenu on the Navigation tree and select the Billing Manager.
  2. On the Billing Manager submenu select Setup -> Payment PlugIns ->YellowPay Payment. The plug-in configuration form appears on the screen.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Fill the form:
    1. Enter the URL to send the payment inquiries to the Postfinance server into the Server URL field.
    2. Enter your merchant ID obtained from the Postfinance into the Merchant ID field.
    3. You can check the Preauthorization enabled box to perform the two-step (PreAuth-Capture) transactions.
    4. If you want to check the integration with Postfinance before going live, you can use the plug-in in the test mode so that no real transactions would be performed. To this effect, configure the Testing environment settings part of the form. Enter the Postfinance testing server URL into the Server URL field and check the Test mode box.
    5. Key in the Button title. This could be the name of payment system (e.g., Pay Online). This title will be displayed directly on the button for online-payment at HSPstore, on the final stage of subscription registration, when a customer selects how to pay for the services ordered.
    6. You can add both the short and the detailed description. Quick description of a payment method will be displayed below the button. Long description of a payment method will be displayed in a separate section entitled 'Pay Online'.
    7. Click the Update button.
